As the president, lead consulting forester and Arborist for Aurora Forestry Consultants, Ryan has over 12 years of experience in the forestry industry and Arboriculture industry. Working on behalf of landowners to maximize the potential of their woodlot. He is certified to write Qualified Forest Program plans and Commercial Forest stewardship plans, with an emphasize in deer habitat improvement through forest management practices. His experience working with multiple mills and logging crews is a valuable asset when helping private landowners benefit from and understand how timber harvests benefit their woods.

Ryan also is a Certified Arborist accredited through the International Society of Arborists. He has been conducting tree service and urban forestry work along side forestry for 11 years. He is able to conduct street tree inventories, hazard tree assessment and prescriptive pruning plans.

Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management from Michigan State University.  

Ryan is an ISA Certified Arborist (MI-4292A) and an active Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) member.
